TIC’s advanced diagnostic and interventional radiological imaging department offers various imaging modalities including Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Click on each heading to learn more about our available modalities.

MRI

Our Siemens Magnetom Verio 3T MRI system with a 70 cm, wide-bore diameter. The scanner is equipped with neurological, cardiac, perfusion, spectroscopy, and several other packages. Imaging capabilities include routine MRI (with or without contrast), cardiac, vascular, angiography, spectroscopy, echo-planar imaging, as well as functional MRI. The MRI suite includes interventional capabilities, including an OR suite that allows for hybrid procedures with a portable C-arm, in the same room. Imaging post-processing is offered at a Siemens Syngo 3D workstation equipped with dedicated software analysis packages for neuroimaging, and cardiovascular imaging processing.

Ultrasound/Echocardiogram

Our high-end ultrasound system offers high-resolution, four-dimensional ultrasound and can be used for cardiac (in particular, trans-esophageal and trans-thoracic echocardiography), vascular, musculoskeletal, thyroid, abdominal, and several other examinations. This high-technology system also allows for Doppler testing and advanced cardiovascular applications including left ventricular stress/strain calculations.

Fluoroscopy

Our portable, Siemens Arcadis Avantic C-arm fluoroscopy unit allows for cardiovascular and interventional procedures to be performed anywhere including in the MRI hybrid interventional suite for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The digital radiography technique allows for portable radiograph-type images, while the digital subtraction angiography and cine techniques allow for real-time fluoroscopic image capture.

X-Ray

Our Fujifilm FCRGo portable, computed radiography system provides high-resolution radiographs of the extremities, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and other skeletal structures, and is an option for quick and easy imaging, particularly in orthopedic and cardiac research studies.
